Accelerated MBA Programs Take Off
Watch out full-time MBA programs -- you're not the only game in town anymore. While full-time MBA program enrollment has declined, accelerated MBA programs have thrived thanks to lower costs and greater flexibility.
Accelerated MBA programs, which typically run 10 to 15 months, are becoming an increasingly attractive option for students who are not willing to spend two years out of the workforce. The growing popularity prompted The Wall Street Journal to issue a report ranking the top 15 accelerated MBA programs, based on student and alumni surveys.
Miami University, a Stanton Public Relations & Marketing client, saw its Farmer School of Business program ranked in the top 10. In addition, the Farmer School of Business ranked 18th in BusinessWeek's Best Business Schools ranking for 2009, up from 24th in 2008.
